Patch Worked Quilted Reversible Recycled Tote Bags - Jholna Bags

Satthvam's Maiden Effort at making Recycled Jholna Bags (Jholas).

Made with 4 different duppattas out of this set of duppattas given by the customer to recycle for a christmas bazaar happening in December this year...

Quilted and Patch worked with some beads for embellishments..

While matching fabrics, took care such that, all the 4 fabrics had a common base colour either orange or red. When it comes to satthvam's products. Utility is of foremost importance.. Hence many creations from clothes, we have made sure are usable as reversibly too!
This is how the bag looks when you use the reverse side if it :-)
In this pic you can also see the user friendly carton base which goes inside the jholna bag and sits as the base of the bag. This cloth carton base covered with cloth has a one side open edge where in you can remove the carton manually and wash the piece of cloth in case of stains, dry , put back the carton into its rectangular cloth cover and lo its ready for you to use again!!

Hope you found this post informative. Do share your feedback and comments. it will help motivate me a great deal to share more such DIY tricks :-)
